Tentative Itinerary
Friday | January 29th, 2027 - Arrival Day - Hotel check-in and meet up. We will kick things off with a welcome dinner and get to know each other while going over a few key reminders for a smooth experience.
Saturday | January 30th, 2027 - Traditional Tokyo - Explore Senso-ji Temple and take a stroll through Nakamise street. Shop for traditional sweets and walk along Sumida River. Your evening will be free to explore Tokyo.
Sunday | January 31st, 2027 - Modern Tokyo - We’ll start at Hachiko Statue, a popular meet up spot in Shibuya, cross Shibuya scramble and tour through Shinjuku, one of Tokyo’s busiest entertainment and shopping districts. Spend the afternoon shopping in Harajuku, exploring Shibuya, or visiting the iconic Mega Don Quijote.
Monday | February 1st, 2027 - Free Day - Spend today however you would like. Visit Disney Sea, go shopping in Ginza, take a day trip to Yokohama and more. Need ideas? I'll gladly help you plan your free day with personalized recommendations.
Tuesday | February 2nd, 2027 - Arrive in Kyoto - Travel via shinkansen and spend the afternoon walking through Higashi Hongan-ji. Optional evening visit to teamLab Biovortex Kyoto.
Wednesday | February 3rd, 2027 - Japan’s Old Capital - We’ll beat the crowds and walk under the thousands of torii gates at Fushimi Inari in the morning. Afterwards, we’ll walk through the ancient Kyoto streets while visiting multiple temples along the way. Spend the evening the way you’d like.
Thursday | February 4th, 2027 - Free Day - Spend today however you would like. Visit Nishiki Market, plan a trip to Arashiyama or just walk through the local neighborhoods. Need ideas? I'll gladly help you plan your free day with personalized recommendations.
Friday | February 5th, 2027 - Departure Day - Check out and enjoy your last day in Kyoto before you head to the next stop. Whether you’re going home or heading to another destination, I hope this trip was one for the books.

Is this trip fully guided? No. This is a hosted group trip with scheduled experiences and intentional free time. You’ll have support throughout the trip while still having flexibility.
How much walking should I expect? Expect to walk several miles each day. Comfortable, broken-in shoes are highly recommended.
Can I arrive early or stay longer? Most definitely! You can choose to extend your vacation before or after the group trip.
What’s included? Hotels, daily breakfast, shinkansen from Tokyo to Kyoto, experiences included on the itinerary, welcome and farewell dinner. From the moment you book until you return home, you'll have access to me for planning assistance, travel questions, recommendations, and guidance throughout the experience.
What’s not included? International airfare, lunches, most dinners, personal expenses, and local transportation unless otherwise stated.
Do I need travel insurance? Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect your investment in case of unexpected cancellations, delays, illness, or emergencies.
